Production Methods

Following methods are part of our core competencies in plastics processing:

We bring your ideas into shape.
And quite fluently.

We produce technical plastic parts from all thermoplastics and thermoplastic elastomers by injection moulding for every requirement.

We also offer:

  • 2-component parts and hard/soft combinations
  • Overmoulding of inserts (metal and plastic)
  • Injection into parting line
  • Optical parts made of PMMA and PC
  • Light guides for lighting applications in the automotive sector

  • More about injection moulding...

In the injection moulding process, the material is liquefied (plasticized) with an injection moulding machine and injected under pressure into a mould, the injection moulding tool. In the mould, the material returns to its solid state through cooling or a cross-linking reaction and is removed as a finished part after opening the mould.

Their easy mouldability makes injection moulded parts more versatile than almost any other product.

You like it colorful? So do we.

Therefore we offer you the printing of your parts in two proven processes:

  • Pad printing (up to 4 colours)
  • Screen printing*

  • More about pad printing...

Pad printing is one of the indirect gravure printing processes.

Here, the printing ink is transferred from the printing form to the substrate by an elastic pad made of silicone rubber. This form of printing is the most important process for printing on plastic bodies.

We are not finished until you are satisfied.

Even after demoulding in the injection moulding machine, we continue to work on the perfection of your plastic part:

  • Assembly in ESD-compliant protection zones
  • Conditioning of plastic parts
  • Painting in clean room*
  • Scratch-resistant coating in clean room*
  • Deburring
  • Sorting

And even for your special requirements we will find a flexible solution that fits your project. Please feel free to contact us.

  • More about conditioning...

Conditioning in plastics technology means storage up to weight compensation (weight constancy) through water absorption at standard climate (23 °C and 50% humidity). The conditioning process is reversible.

This process is technically significant, especially in the case of polyamide. The material, which is brittle when dry, only acquires its impact strength through water absorption (conditioning) of up to 3.5%. However, strength and consistency decrease under the influence of moisture - elongation at break increases. This must be taken into account in the design.
